PASS THE HONEY

As the Creative Director at Pass the Honey, I had the chance to dive into some truly exciting projects, but one that stands out is the honeycomb cookbook. We wanted to showcase the versatility of honeycomb, and what better way than with a cookbook? We teamed up with a talented chef to create unique dishes that featured honeycomb in new and creative ways.

One of the best parts of this project was styling the photos. I spent an entire afternoon scouring an antique mall for props that would add a story and depth to each dish. It was probably the most fun I’ve had picking out props! And to top it off, I collaborated with the incredibly talented Cliff Endsley on the photography.

What’s Cookin’

This project involved designing a zine-style cookbook that explores the versatility of honeycomb in a variety of recipes. The cookbook blends vintage aesthetics with stylized photography and creative layouts to showcase unique dishes. Each page combines visual storytelling with practical culinary guidance, making the cookbook both a functional recipe collection and an artistic celebration of honeycomb's beauty and flavor. Additionally, the zine emphasizes sustainable beekeeping practices, seamlessly connecting the culinary delights with the environmental impact of honey production.
